Weekend Happenings

Happy Thursday to all of you! Here are a few Breakthrough reminders and announcements for the next few days:

• A new school year has begun! Please continue praying God's blessings upon our students and teachers as they journey further into this new season.
• Pastor Daymond & Jenny will be traveling to Anchorage today for consultation with the VA surgeon concerning Pastor's constant back pain. Please pray for wisdom for the doctor and direction for what steps should be taken. We continue to speak and believe for a miracle.
• Sherry will also be traveling to Anchorage this weekend to attend the funeral services of a dear friend who passed away on Monday. Thank you for your prayers.
• Thank you for your continued prayers for Susan. She's moving a little better, but still has a way to go. She has not returned to work yet and the days get kind of long. If you have not had a chance to check in on her, you can do so by calling 463-5531. She would love hearing from you.
• Prayer & Worship -Tonite and every Thursday evening at 6:30pm at the church
• Adult Bible Study - Tim & Meghan's home - 7pm tonite - Call 500-9731
• Pre-service Prayer - Every Sunday morning - 10am
• One last prayer request for Pastor Richard Green. Earlier today he was having a hard time breathing & was taken to E/R and was eventually admitted. He is stable and was told that he got to E/R just in time. Thank you Lord for saving our brother's life. Please continue praying God's healing touch for a full recovery.

Monday is Labor Day and a holiday for federal, state and city workers. Enjoy the day off and have a great long weekend!
