Ladies at Hoonah ZipRide
Five Breakthrough ladies had a fantastically awesome day in Hoonah. Jeannita, Sherry, Carolyn, Tomica & Brenda went on the adventure of the Icy Strait Point ZipRide zipline. It's the longest & highest zipline in the world. It's 5400 feet long, goes at the speed of 60 mph and has a vertical drop of 1300 feet. The ride took 90 seconds from beginning to end. In spite of our obvious apprehensions, we took the leap of faith and He carried us safely to our destinations. We also were blessed to see a pod of whales right in front of our lunch restaurant and then later, a little family of jellyfish.
We'd like to share some of the fun with you. Photos of our fun day are posted at
http://www.zip-photos.com/. Once in, click on gallery, then Juneau Day June 26 2010, 10:30 departure. You will find us beginning at photo #23 - 45. Enjoy! We had a GREAT time and are ready for next year. Thank you for praying for us!

We have many among us who are traveling. Please keep the following in prayer as they are away and for their travel back home to Juneau:
- Pastor Jason & Andrea are still away. Pastor Jason and the kids will be returning Tuesday night and Andrea will be attending a teacher's conference in Dallas and will return on Saturday, June 26.
- Pastor Daymond and Jenny are in Haines for a couple days celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary.

- Sherry, Michael and Christina have been in Anchorage with their family since last Wednesday attending the funeral of Sherry's nephew and Michael & Christina's first cousin. Sherry & Christina returned to their homes last night and Michael returns home today.
- A couple families are moving by the end of the month. If you can loan your hands and muscles give Jon & Jessica 789-0656 and Shawn & Bethany 209-7760 a call. I know they'd both love the extra help
- Six ladies will be going to Hoonah on Saturday for the much anticipated zip ride! Please pray for us! If you are interested in going, please contact Sherry.
- Governor's picnic is scheduled for this Thursday, June 24, 4 - 7pm at Sandy Beach

The weekend and beyond at Breakthrough
From Pastor Jason - We are headed out early Friday morning to spend some time visiting family and doing some fun stuff. We'll be in Oklahoma Saturday to see family and I'll be ministering at Family of Faith church in Shawnee on Sunday. We head to Kentucky on Wednesday to visit with Andrea's family until we drive back to Dallas so that Andrea can attend her teacher's training that starts Monday 6/21. Thank you for your prayers as we travel and as we minister! We will be praying for you as well. Juneau is in revival and we are so close to breakthrough. Come expecting grace and miracles!
Pastor Daymond will be preaching for the next couple weeks. He'll be ministering on intimacy with God. Everybody is encouraged to be there.
Prayers for Shelly - As a result of the anesthesia used in surgery last week, Shelly has not been able to drink nor eat. She is currently dehydrated and need to be able to keep her food & liquids down. Please pray God's healing power for Shelly for a speedy end to this current state.
Prayer tonight - at Breakthrough Church at 6:30pm
Lyndsay will be leaving us, returning home to North Carolina on Monday night to pursue further education in her career in speech pathology. We will miss her and speak God's blessings to her as she goes. If you'd like to spend time with her or contact her you can do so by calling 919-225-7642 or lnb41285@yahoo.com

July 4th Weekend at Breakthrough Church
July 4th falls on Sunday this year. Instead of our normal Sunday worship service, we will have Saturday July 3rd worship service. It is scheduled for the same time, 10:30am.
This rescheduling will give everybody the opportunity to plan your family time for fireworks, parades and other July 4th activities.
After the service on Saturday, we will have a Breakthrough family barbeque! Pastor Jason would like to have a variety of meats which includes but not limited to ribs, chicken & sausage. Of course hot dogs and burgers can be included. Other dishes or items needed would include potato salad, coleslaw, buns, baked beans, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, mustard, ketchup, desserts, drinks, etc, etc. Pastor Jason & Andrea have a grill, but we may need 1 - 2 more. We'll need coolers filled with ice for drinks. We'll be set up for outdoor games for all.
Please feel free to invite family & friends to come out and be a part of this fun-filled family Fourth of July celebration as we worship and thank our God for this our land of America in which we are so blessed to live in. We will begin a sign up sheet soon.

Thursday Night and Prayer Requests
Tomorrow night will be a work night at Breakthrough. Pastor Jason has invited us all to dinner and then we will spend some time moving the remainder of our belongings from the container. The more hands and backs we have, the better.
A big pot of beans is on for dinner. We already have rice and cornbread. So, please bring anything else you can think of to help complete the meal.
Prayer requests:
Shelly will be having surgery on Friday morning for the removal of kidney stones. Also, Jesse's future brother-in- law, John is having digestive system problems and has been in the hospital since Sunday. They're still not sure what is the cause. Please pray God's healing power, wisdom and peace in both of these situations. Thank you for praying.
See you Thursday night!
