Happy New Year!

This is just a short message from me (Pastor Jason) as I pray for you and your family to have a blessed new year.  May you enter 2010 expecting the incredible, the impossible made possible by His grace and faithfulness.

This is an important season to reflect on the year that has passed and shift priorities and expectations for the coming one. I hope you are doing just that.  I wrote on Connecting to Impact about taking inventory. I challenge you to go read that and use it as a spiritual exercise (just click here to read it).

Through all the ups and downs, setbacks and triumphs, frustrations and fulfillment--I am certainly glad that God has put us together as a church. I trust that divine wisdom and I know that He will guide us to the most amazing places, accomplishing impossible things.

I was reminded of this passage in Acts 17 and I am so thankful for who He is:
24"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. 25And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. 26From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28'For in him we live and move and have our being...'

May we each know and understand this more fully in 2010 and all the years ahead.  May you be flooded with revelation from the heart of the Father.  Blessings and grace to you in Jesus' name!

Christ our Savior is born!!

All that we have been planning and preparing for, hoping and dreaming of for the Christmas season is upon us. On tomorrow we will again commemorate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He comes to bring us hope, love, peace and joy. And our prayer is that you and yours will experience all that He is and all He brings as you celebrate.

As you know, many of our church family are vacationing and celebrating outside of the city & state this Christmas season. Added to the list of travellers is the Paddock family (Bill, Liz, Dante', Kaleb and Abigail). We ask that you continue praying & speaking God's best for everyone.

Please be reminded that Pastor Danny Fisher from Seminole, OK will be with us again on this Sunday, Dec 27 at 10:30am. We had a wonderfully blessed time on this past Sunday and look forward to another anointed word of the Lord from our brother. Please invite family & friends to share in what God will do during our Sunday time of worship.

Have a Merry, Merry Christmas and see you on Sunday!!

Merry Christmas and Be Expecting!

Hello everyone,

This is Pastor Jason. We're headed out on our vacation very soon, but on behalf of Andrea, myself, and our family, I wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas. You are a blessing in the most profound ways to us and we are humbled to be a part of such a beautiful, diverse expression of the Christ's Church.

Enjoy your families and friends this holiday season and also take the necessary moments to recognize His presence in our lives.  Thank Him for His blessings and worship Him.  In everything, be expecting more!

Please remember to come ready to receive these next two weeks as Pastor Danny Fisher from Seminole, OK brings the message.  This is not an accident he's here, but I truly believe it's a divine appointment.  He will bring a timely word that will prepare us for the next season.

If you are in town, do not miss it! Also don't forget to invite as many people as you can to experience what God wants to do.

Prepare your hearts in advance.  Be praying for one another as God puts someone on your heart and mind. Come ready to worship as Sherry leads you in praise to God then trust Him that He has a great word to speak into your life.  It's a new season, a new day, and we have to have a new expectation.

May God's blessings rest upon you and thank you for your love and prayers as we travel. Merry Christmas and as always, we'll be praying for you and your families as well!

All our love,

Jason and Andrea Stasyszen

An Immediate Prayer Request

I just received an email from Meghan that said Andrew Hohenthaner went to the ER this afternoon.  here's what she wrote,
Mom just called me and they are taking dad into the emergency room. I guess he aspirated something into his lungs and they need to run tests and see what is going on (he’s starting to run a fever). Mom is very worried! Please pray for him... he could use all the support he can get.
Thank you all for your prayers and we'll do our best to keep you updated on what's happening.

Blessings,

Jason
