Well, it’s gonna be a busy weekend. Here’s what’s up. It’s all about our youth…..

Tonite – Thursday, 7/30 – 6:30 -7:30pm – Prayer & Worship – our prayer focus will be our youth and the upcoming camp.

Saturday – 8/1 - Garage sale & bake sale to help send our youth to camp – 8am – noon at Tim and Meghan’s home located on the corner of Hayes & Tongass in the valley. If you have anything you’d like to donate for the sale, please call Jesse at 723-6576.

Sunday 8/2 after service – Mexican Cuisine Lunch Fundraiser – How convenient to have lunch prepared and served for you immediately following services! Everyone is invited to stay. The price for lunch is your prayerful donation, rather than a set price. Bethany has requested volunteers to setup, serve & cleanup. If interested in helping out, please call her at 209-7760.

If you ordered a sweet potato pie, they will be brought to the church on Sunday. Thank you for your orders. Proceeds are for Youth Camp.

Jesse asked that his thanks to you be conveyed for all you have done and will do in the next days in assisting our youth in their quest to get to Youth Camp. God’s riches blessings to you!

Some Thoughts on Sunday Night

Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I posted something about Sunday night's baptism service and family fun with a few pictures. It was such a wonderful time! Thanks to everyone who was able to participate and join in this amazing celebration.

I didn't know how many check my blog regularly or are subscribed to it so I wanted to get the word out. God is up to amazing, beauitful things! We are blessed to love God, love each other, and serve together.

Breakthrough reminders

Ø Baptism – this Sunday evening, July 26 – 6 – 8:30pm – downtown swimming pool next to JDHS. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and have never been baptized or would like to rededicate your life to Christ, please contact Pastor Jason at 321-5646 as soon as you can so that he can have an idea of how many will be baptized on that evening. After baptism we will have a celebration and swim party. Please bring snacks and drinks to share. We look forward to this awesome time in His presence and with each other.

Ø Prayer & Worship to resume on next Thursday night July 30 – 6:30 – 7:30pm

Ø Youth Mini Camp – Aug 7 – 9, in Sitka, hosted by the Sitka church. Youth are encouraged to attend this powerful time of ministry. Round trip ferry, registration, housing and meals total $125.00 per person. If someone would like to attend and is coming up a little short, please let us know. Also, any one who would like to sponsor a youth (donating toward the cost) please see Pastor Jason or Andrea.

Ø Remember pre-service prayer every Sunday morning at 10am

Finally, the word of God on Sunday thru Pastor Jason was to stay on track, stand your ground and hold fast to what you know. To be settled in the fact that He WILL complete what He has started. Be encouraged that whatever you’re faced with, He sees it, He knows all about it. He is in control and He has the last word. Stay on track & stand firm! See you soon!

If you want to be baptized or rededicate your life to Christ, please contact Pastor Jason at 321-5646. After baptism, we’ll have a celebration & swim party. Please bring snacks and drinks to share. Get ready for an anointed fun-filled Breakthrough evening for the entire family!

We are Breakthrough Church!

Hello everyone!

Well, it’s official! We are Breakthrough Church. The paperwork finally got through and we’re ready to turn the city upside down—officially!

Here are a few other announcements:

Small groups are on break. We’ll regroup and start anew in August. Enjoy the time off!

No Thursday night Prayer & Worship for the next three weeks. We will resume on Thursday night, July 30th, but stay prayerful at all times.

Pastor Jason will be ministering in Sitka on tomorrow night, July 10th. May God mightily touch you Pastor as you travel & minister in His anointing that many lives be changed. We’re praying with you.

Please continue praying for Carolyn & Albert as they are currently with their family in Florida for the funeral services of Carolyn’s mother on this Saturday. July 11.
