The weekend and beyond

Good morning Breakthrough family! "But the Lord's plans stand firm forever, His intentions can NEVER be shaken. What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people He has chosen as His inheritance." Ps 33:11-12 NLT
  • This Saturday morning - July 3 - 10:30am - Breakthrough Church worship service. Immediately following service is our church family barbeque. Come ready to worship Him and receive what God will speak to us this Independence Day weekend through our pastor. If you have not signed up yet, just come and be blessed! No church service planned for Sunday, July 4. Enjoy your family time!
  • Several churches have come together to sponsor a Community July 4th Celebration at Shepherd of the Valley Church at 4pm on July 4th. The meat is provided. If you'd like, you can bring non-mayo salads to go along with the burgers and hotdogs. Games and other activities are planned. This is a great event for the whole family! A worship service will begin at 6pm with several local pastors and singing groups participating. This occasion also marks the 25th anniversary of Shepherd of the Valley Church. Everyone is invited to attend this great time of fellowship with other brothers and sisters in our community.
  • Until further notice, there is no Thursday night schedule at Breakthrough.

Future Dates:

  • Jesse & Suzie's wedding - Saturday July 17 at 5:30pm at Breakthrough Church. The reception is being held at DIPAC at 6:30pm. Shelly & Andrew are reminding those who have not done so, to please RSVP so that they can get an accurate count to the caterers. Jesse and Suzie are registered at Amazon.com.
  • A bridal shower for Suzie is planned for Thursday, July 15. More details to be announced soon.
  • Baby Dedication Sunday - A baby dedication service is planned in the month of August. The specific date will be announced. If you are interested in having your baby or child dedicated to the Lord, please contact Sherry.
  • Big Brothers, Big Sisters - BBBS has a HUGE need for male big brothers. At the present, there are 34 young LITTLES (boys) waiting to be matched with a male BIG. Unfortunately, there are no male BIGS just waiting to be matched with a LITTLE. If you are at all interested in this wonderful organization and making a difference in a little person's life, please contact BBBS at 586-3350 or go to www.bbbsak.org\juneau

That's it for now! Be blessed! Have a great July 4 weekend and see you tomorrow.
