Happenings

“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make Him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.” Ps 19:1-3

Happy, glorious sunshiny day!!! What wonderful weather He has given to us! Here are a few reminders and announcements for the weekend & beyond:

This Saturday evening, June 6 – Ladies Night - Let’s take advantage of this great weather & go for a walk on Twin Lakes – 6pm – We’ll meet at the parking lot of First Baptist Church (we have permission to park there) and walk from there to the playground & back. That’s a little over 2 miles. Then you’re invited to Sherry’s home for root beer floats (all no sugar or low sugar products used) or a tall glass of ice tea or ice water. Let Sherry know if you will be joining us.

Next Adult Bible Study – Thursday, June 11 at Tim & Meghan’s home – 500-9731

The Dunham family (Jomar, Tabitha, Amar & Aimee) will be departing Juneau on Tuesday, June 23. They are and have been such a blessing and are in our hearts forever. That’s what family is about. They will be moving out of their home next week. Give them a call if you’d like to offer assistance in packing or cleaning or if you want to have them over or prepare a meal for them, they would so much appreciate it.
