Petition for Parental Notification of Abortion

Hello everybody,
I have a petition for those of you who would like to sign if they are in favor of parents being notified before their daughters can have an abortion. This is a small step but hopefully it will lead to future legislation that will reinstate parental consent prior to an abortion. As it is a person under 18 can’t even have a tooth pulled without parental consent. But an abortion…sure, no problem. You’ll have to excuse sarcasm. I can get pretty worked up over this subject. Good morning to all! Our God is an awesome and faithful Father and He absolutely loves us! He loves us enough to speak His truth and we are transformed as a result! Here are our updates for the weekend and beyond:

• Tonight - Friday, 11/13 at 7PM is the last session of ReCharge Worship Conference. If you have not had a chance to attend, tonight is your night! God has been speaking some awesome things. It's been absolutely life changing!
• Operation Christmas Child - Please bring your filled box on this Sunday, 11/15-Breakthrough's collection day. You may bring them tonight also if you want. The boxes will be prayed over and sent out to the main collection location for shipping in the next week. Thank you for blessing a child this Christmas!
• Love INC Fundraiser - Friday night, 11/20 at Centennial Hall - The tickets are $25.00 each, but if you want to go and you can't do the whole price, please let us know. The church is hoping to be able to buy a table in support of this wonderful ministry.
• Guidance Through Grief Support Group - Oct 22 - Dec 10 - Call 463-6109 or email sandra.harris@ccsjuneau.org to enroll or get more info.
• Healing After Suicide Loss - Nov 21- 8:30am - Call 463-4087 or email destiny.sargeant@searhc.org

Worship Conference

Good morning! Today is Wednesday, November 11 - Happy Veteran' s Day to all!

Tonight begins ReCharge Worship Conference. The conference is scheduled for tonight, 11/11 - Friday night 11/13, each night at 7:00pm at Breakthrough Church. We anticipate a mighty move of God, please invite your friends and family!
Please make note of the following:

1. Praise Team meets at the church at 6:00pm each evening.
2. If you can be a greeter, please be there by 6:45pm.
3. We need volunteers to pickup, clean after each service, ensuring that we're ready for the next evening's service.
4. We need a volunteer to setup refreshment table on Friday night only for an after service time of fellowship. We'll probably have only cookies and hot drinks.
5. Childcare is provided for children 1 year - 5 years.
6. The Praise Team will be praying for the service around 6:45 each evening, you are very welcome to join us!

Please let Sherry know if you can help serve in any one of these areas just mentioned. See you tonight!

December Nursery & Children Church

Hello to you all and Happy Pre-Holiday and Christmas to you all.
Many are traveling in December. I am asking each of you to please sign up for the week you are available to do nursery or children's church for that month.
Please see the Christmas card posted in the nursery and PLEASE help us out by choosing one Sunday that you can minister in Nursery or Children's Church for the month of December.
Your help is always appreciated and needed. Not many are willing to give a Sunday service to minister to the ones Jesus Himself called unto Himself and said "for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
The Christmas card is posted on the nursery bulletin board ready for you to sign up for your Sunday(s) in which you are available. Thanks so very much!

Weekly reminders

Just a few quick reminders:

1. Tonight, 11/05 - Worship & Prayer - 6:30pm at the church
2. Tonight, 11/05 - Adult Bible Study at Tim & Meghan's home - 7pm - 500-9731
3. Every Sunday morning at 10am - pre-service prayer followed by morning worship service at 10:30am.
4. Andrew & Shelly are doing well. They will be returning to Juneau Sunday morning. We continue to speak God's healing & restorative power into their lives.
5. Remember to pray for Pastor Jason & Andrea over the next few days. He is in Oklahoma ministering at the conference and she is here with the children and a full time job.
6. Next week - Wednesday, 11/11 - Friday, 11/13 - 7pm each night - ReCharge Worship Conference at Breakthrough Church. Originally, the plan was a retreat out at Jubilee Cabin. Now we have planned only the evening services at the church. No day sessions. There is no fee to attend. Paul Hollifield of REI Ministries will be our guest speaker. Please make your plans now to be a part of what God will be doing in the meetings. We expect many guests from around our city. See Pastor Jason if you can help out with cleaning after each service, greeting, preparing snacks/coffee/tea table, etc.
7. Next Wednesday Nov 11 is Veterans Day - We thank God and honor the men & women who have served our country for many years and for those who are still serving. Thank you to every veteran and active duty personnel among us.
